Wesley Theological Seminary, Oxnam Chapel - 2024 Romero Lecture
Larst month, I was able to deliver the 2024 Romero Lecture at Wesely Theological Seminary. I was blessed to be able to speak to the students and faculty at the seminary. The subject of the presentation was on the need to develop a non-imperial theological discourse and practice, a theology that will be based on God's true solirarity with people in the world, a theology of incarnation that is not under the control of empire, or capitalism, of greed, but rather, at the service of the those who have been made to live in poverty in the world.
